Ethereum Classic does not have unique founders, as it is the result of the community that decided to maintain the original chain of Ethereum after the hacking of The DAO in 2016.

Ethereum Classic (ETC) is a cryptocurrency that is the result of a fork from Ethereum (ETH) in 2016, following the events that occurred due to the hacking of The DAO on Ethereum. The reason for the fork was to maintain the original philosophy of Ethereum, prioritising immutability and decentralisation (Ethereum rewrote the history of its blockchain after the hack, violating this philosophy). Due to its origins, Ethereum Classic has the same capabilities as Ethereum, which includes advanced smart contracts, EVM support, Solidity, and has adapted to changes in Ethereum over time.

Ethereum Classic works in a similar way to Ethereum; in fact, let us remember that its blockchain is a fork of the Ethereum network, so we have access to the EVM, Solidity, and the capabilities that make Ethereum unique. However, Ethereum Classic is still a mining-based network (PoW) unlike Ethereum (which is PoS). Other than that, the functioning of Ethereum Classic and Ethereum is practically the same, which helps make migrations very easy to carry out.
